Autumn Term - Cave Creatures, Stones and Bones
This term, we have had great fun learning about the Stone Age. We have been into forest school to create cave paintings using berries and natural resources. Also, we have designed models of Skara Brae, a neolithic settlement in Scotland. During D and T, we have created stone age jewelerry. The children have shown great enthusiasm when reading our books for the term- 'Stone Age Boy' and 'Stig of the Dump'.
We look forward to learning lots more about the Stone Age during the coming term. Check out our twitter feed for up to date posts about what we get up to!
Year 3 have begun their forest school sessions this week. They found a giant's toenail, leaf skeleton and a magical wand!!!
