Home Learning When Isolating

Theme - the planner below has some activities to choose from. You can decide how to present them and which ones to do. There is enough work here for two weeks. Complete them on Seesaw or do the work in your home learning book, take photos and upload on Seesaw. Use the links and knowledge organisers to help you.

Think back through your time in class and or what you already know. What can you remember about the Stone Age? You could write a list, draw some pictures, create a mindmap.

Pick one of these activities to complete. It might take you longer than one lesson.  

 

Make a cave painting using natural resources e.g. leaves, mud, twigs etc.

 

Imagine you are a hunter gatherer, write a description of a day in your life.

 

Write instructions for making a pot of soup.

 

Design a Stone Age recipe. Which foods would they have used?

 

 

Using recycled materials, build a model of a Stone Age house.

 

Write a story using the Stone Age as your theme.

 

Research and make tools from the Stone Age.

You will know all of this content by the END of the term or year but you might not know it all yet. While you are at home, having fun, keeping active and mindfulness are really important. Try one of Miss McLean's brain breaks when you feel you need to.
