1P have been working really hard in Art. Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about an artist called Tingatinga. Today, we focused on our drawing skills and started the day with a pencil disco! Some pencils danced lightly to the music in gentle lines, some pencils were very jumpy and liked to zig-zag and others were getting dizzy dancing in spirals! This really helped us to look and carefully draw peacock feathers. Everyone did amazingly well today. Well done 1P.

Year 5 had a fantastic Spark Day today to introduce our first topic 'Historical Horrors'. They have been very creative and have made honey oatcakes, Anglo Saxon brooches and have made wall hangings by weaving different textiles together.
