Templars Sir Captain Tom Moore '100' challenge

Team Templars.

We have a challenge for you!

To celebrate the amazing achievements of Sir Captain Tom Moore, we would like you to do '100' of something! It can be anything you like! Jogging, star jumps, throwing and catching, skipping, hula-hooping! The bigger the better!

Remember to let us know what you are doing on Seesaw or Twitter!

Good luck!

Here is my first EVER Youtube clip! We are entering a local competition against other schools to complete in this Pentathlon which is 5 activities.

Take a look at my video and open the links if you need more information.

Please let me know your scores through Seesaw or on Twitter - @TemplarsPrimary.

Good luck!

Templars Pentathlon challenge

Complete the activities in the time given and let Miss McLean know your results through your class teacher on Seesaw.
Please excuse my attempt, I was aching from our run the day before!

We are once again linking with our School Games Officers and Coventry Sport to take part in the Active Schools Challenge. Click on the links for more information.

Can you help Templars to walk around the world?

We have joined forces with Premier Active to try and walk around the world.

Take a look at the attached document.

Log your miles on any device - fitbit, apple OR download the free Strava app and join 'Templars Primary School - family log'.

Send us some picturs on Twitter so we can see you in action!  @TemplarsPrimary

We will then send in all our totals and hopefully win some great prizes!

Good luck.

Take a look at this snakes and ladders fitness challenge. Let me know what you think on Twitter - @TemplarsPrimary

Why is PE important?

Things in PE are very different this year. We are currently not able to take part in face-to-face competitions so we are competing in the CSW (Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire) Virtual School Games. This term children have been competing in football, athletics and dance.

Ask your child about their challenges and see if they can improve some at home!

Here are a list of useful Twitter pages that children and parents might find useful:

@PE4Learning

@tagtiv8

@TopYaSports - There could be a cost to this.

@EPS_COO - This is a French page that Madame Parrott & I are trying to help to translate.

@PEatHome1

@thebodycoach - the famous Joe Wicks

@KoolNerdGang

@YourSchoolGames

@YouthSportTrust

@SGOCoventryWest - our local page for Sport in Coventry with our very own Mr Kingham.

We have been awarded the 2019-20 Virtual Games Award for our participation in the Competitions during lock down. Congratulations & thank you for taking part!

Last year we were awarded the School Games GOLD Award for our PE delivery and the competition offered to our students.  We hope you agree that we deserved it too!
